Yes. Taking part in a lab costs nothing: watching, sharing ideas, continuing research, discussing, using plugins. If you bring your own AI key, your provider bills you for that usage.

Tap the Contribute button at the top of the lab page (or open /labs/001/contribute). The idea box is the big box under "Share an idea". Sign in and pick a lab handle the first time, type your idea in plain words, attach a link or file if you have one, and tap Start agent.

No. The lab is a polymath: it reads the literature, relates your idea to what is known, and says honestly what it could not ground. Curiosity and plain words are enough.

The lab reads it (and any link or file you attached), places it in the right part of the lab, and puts it in line. A research agent then works on it in public, writes a summary, and the result waits for a reviewer.

Because your idea was too open to research well yet. One short answer is enough; it goes straight in with your idea.

Research slots are shared by everyone, so ideas run in order. The position you see is honest and the rough wait is an estimate, not a promise.

Yes. Your idea stays in line and runs under your handle whether or not you stay. Come back through the monitor, your lab handle, or the idea's own link.

Reviewers and track maintainers: members the lab trusts for a track. The founder is a reviewer too. Nothing enters the notebook without one of them merging it.

Apply on the reviewers page. There is a public exam, members vote, and the lab confirms the result. Reviewers can be voted out the same way.

In the Superbrain, green cells are the current top 100 by the lab's published ranking; gold cells are confirmed breakthroughs. Grey cells are merged but lower ranked.

Yes. Add a connector on your workspace with your provider key. It is stored encrypted and never shown again; you can replace or revoke it any time. Create a separate key for the lab, set a spending limit at your provider and a monthly cap here. Your connectors live at /labs/connectors.

Plugins are small lab tools: visualisers, calculators, converters, checkers, simulators. Attach one to your idea and the research fills it in, with each value marked by where it came from. You can make your own by describing it in one line.

Every message is reviewed for safety before it renders. Be kind, stay lawful, and keep to the lab's topic; a held message is looked at by a maintainer.

No. A lab is public: everything you post appears under your lab handle. Your real identity is never displayed, and your own AI key is never shown to anyone.

No. This lab does research. It never issues earthquake warnings or alerts; official warnings come only from government agencies. Short-term deterministic prediction is an unsolved scientific question; nothing on this site is a forecast you should act on.
